Teacher Spotlight – Anne
Teacher Spotlight! On the lovely Anne York @vananne89
Pilates motivates, moves and heals and Anne has always had a passion for movement from a young age. With a background in dance and theatre, Pilates was in sync with her personal style of exercise and she loved the way it made her body feel and wanted to share that experience with others. Anne received her full certification in the Basi Method with an extensive background in sport and rehabilitation sciences. In addition to teaching, Anne is completing her Masters of Occupational Therapy with experience in post-operative rehab, neurological rehabilitation and Pilates for children/youth. Anne aims to spread the wealth of knowledge that Pilates can offer in an upbeat and personal atmosphere. Warmly welcoming people from all walks of life, she strongly believes that this versatile practice can transform anybody’s mind and body. When at home she also loves food (cooking it, eating it or trying a new restaurant), walking with her dog ‘Tiger’ and continues to Salsa Dance with a lady’s performance team. At the end of the day you can find her sitting on the patio with a good book!
Join her in the Pilates Basics on Tuesday 5:30pm and Friday 4:30pm!
